Journal 3

When we are told to invest in the universe which to me means that we must be unique.  We need to search new ideas and theories on which to write about.  These days there is so much published information out there that in order for us to succeed we need to stand out.  When we write in college we need to expand our ideas.  We need to further our experience in all of our writings.
When he suggest we become insiders, must be involved in our work.  We must have a connection with what we are writing about.  Once we do this we learn to enjoy our writings much better.  We connect on a more personal Level.
In the first paper we realize that the paper is not very alive.  In this sense I mean that the writer does not show compassion about his work.  He writes the paper with very little detail and information.  The writer needs to be affectionate and care about what he is writing.  The second paper is a well thought out and developed.  The writer shows that he cares about the paper and connects on that personal level.  The writer seems  to have taken time and shows compassion and taken the time to write a good paper.

  1. Hhmmm, some contact with the words (and ideas) of the actual text would help show me you read it before answering these questions. It's hard to ignore the fact that your answers are general to the point of sounding like a new-age sermon. Especially funny is how "invent the university" becomes, in your post, "invest in the universe."
