The bill of rights is .org cite. This can be useful. I think this cite will help in the research process primarily because it states what exactly our freedom of Speech, Religion and Press is. This is important because this shows how the Patriot act is a violation of our Rights. This cite also has the other amendments on there, could be beneficial down the road.

Fox news, this is a good cite because this tells how the media portrays the Patriot act. This article talks about why the patriot act needs to be established. This article was posted a few weeks after 9/11. This is somewhat persuasive, persuades the people that this bill needs to be passed in order to protect our freedom. This article shows fear and how easy people can be manipulated into promoting something that will affect there future. Solid article that will help tell me why and how they patriot act came to be.

This cite gives good evidence of what the Patriot takes away from our rights. They give good examples that show we no longer have any privacy. The government can learn, disclose, snoop around any of your stuff. Relatively short article, the information is good. I think this will help because this shows people how destructive the Patriot act is to personal freedom. This article tells about how the government has warrantless searches, article is really going to help in my paper. They discuss how fear caused the patriot act, now the fear is gone and people are angry, disputes amongst the patriot act, will help prove my point.

I like this site for several reasons. This is a .gov usually a good source to find concrete, accurate government researched material. The cite looks legit, the title is Persevering Life and Liberty. The cite offers a brief summary of the current Patriot Act. There are news articles on the bottom of the page that give you the latest information regarding the Patriot Act in the current news. I like this cite allows me the most recent information. They also have a section which states the myths of the patriot act. They have articles and summaries of how congress feels about the patriot act now that 9/11 has passed.
